Thame Hydropower

The Thame Hydropower that was washed out by the 1985 Dig Tsho GLOF event. There seems to be no trace of the infrastructure of the hydropower station, however, the canal that goes to the power station seems to be distinctly evident as seen in the picture.

hydropower electricity

Electric energy (AC) produced from running household water using a small turbine and generator, unfortunately it produces only 4.7 volts. It is possible with this device to power a small 3 volt radio using a germanium diode, without the diode it won’t work, because a radio needs DC and not AC electricity.
