Posted under Events by Webmaster at 16:20 on May 10 2008

Following the success of the SET (Sustainable Energy Technologies) Conference in Porto (Portugal, 2002), Chongping (China, 2003), Nottingham (United Kingdom, 2004), Shandong (China, 2005), Vicenza (Italy, 2006), and Santiago (Chile, 2007), Korea will join this continous effort by taking up the task of hosting the SET Conference in 2008 from 24 to 27 August.

It has played a central role in providing an excellent forum for reviewing the present state-of-the-art low carbon technologies and discussing the proper direction to take in the development of sustainability as our legacy to the coming generation in this 21st century.

This year, there will be a number of quality keynote and invited papers abroad: Robert F. Boehm (UNLV, USA), Qingyan Chen (Purdue University, USA), Michael R. Hoffmann (Caltech, USA), Hajime Koshimizu (Meiji University, Japan), Noam Lior (University of Pennsylvania, USA), Tony Marmont (Beacon Energy, UK), Shuzo Murakami (Keio University, Japan) and Saffa B. Riffat (University of Nottingham, UK).

You can be a force that changes the world by taking part in SET 2008. We look forward to welcoming you to Seoul in 2008.
